"Whats On My Android" August 2015

Hello guys, I really haven't written anything about how I use my Android phone or even whats on my Android phone.  So I am going to do that today.  Instead of writing a long boring article about each single app and widget I use, I am going to show it through a video.  Also I will have a short list of each app and widget and where you can download the app from.  Now, these are all apps that can be used right from the Google Play Store without needing root access.  Some are just in beta as well.  So if you want donate to the developers of each beta app, you can do so through the Play Store.  Also some have Pro and Premium versions of the free app.  If you feel the free version doesn't satisfy you, then you can purchase the Pro version in the Google Play Store.  So, no  further ado, here is what on my Android phone.

Bing Snapshots on Tap Copies Google's Now On Tap

Bing Search New Feature- Snapshots on Tap

Bing Search Engine is getting to be very popular for most people. Although it isn't exactly like Google Search Engine, it can give you give information at your fingertips too.  Not only that, but Bing will reward you for searching for things using its search engine.  Now having Snapshot on Tap will earn you even faster points using your Android phone or tablet for mobile searches.  The Snapshot on Tap is quite similar to Google's Now On Tap feature that is in Android 6.0.  But Bing beat Google to spot by releasing their version today.  All you have to do is download Bing Search app on the play store and browse the web and hold down the home button to activate the Bing feature and you will see what all information is related within the article or topic browsing. You get a pop up as shown the above picture. This function should be able to work with any app and in your texting apps as well. Test this new function out and see for yourself.  There is also a hands-on video below.  So, are you going to be using the Bing Search app more on Android or wait for the release of Google Now on Tap?

Google Chrome Touch To Search

(Google Chrome- Touch To Search in Image Above)

There has been so much to cover in the land of Google since Google's I/O just a couple weeks ago. Android M doesn't seem to be a let down to the masses at all.  As there have been some hidden features and hidden secrets come to the surface of what it can really do! Well if you not familiar with Google Now on Tap feature that is in the Android M Developer Preview edition, this function will give you all sorts of information that it detect in a message, email, or even within another application on your mobile device.  Although this function isn't available to everyone right now, there is a function out there now that is very close to this.  The function is called " Touch to Search".  You are able to see this work in action using your Google Chrome app on your mobile device.  I will have images and video to show you in the break below.  So, tell me, is this feature and function any good to you all?  Do you think it will help you in the long run? Or would you rather have the "Google Now on Tap" feature right now? Leave all comments below.  Thank you.

This Is What's On My Android (Nexus 6 Edition)

Above in the video I give you a look at whats on my android phone.  I have the Nexus 6 and I use the Case Mate 2-1 Phone case. It  has 2 pockets for your personal ID and a debit card.  It also can be used as a stand for viewing media and games.  I also mention in the video about how to customize your android smartphone.  You really don't need to root your phone to make it stand out from the other with roms.  There are plenty of themes and launchers and icon packs available on the Google Play Store.  I mainly use all Google apps as you can see in the above video.  My lockscreen shows 2 different toggle notification bars that are useful at times when you at least expect it. One of them is included with the Solo Launcher app and the other one is included in the Clean Master app.  They are both great to have.  I also point out how the Clean Master (speed booster) app optimizes all of your apps that are placed in the CM app folders that you will see me open in the video above.  This also includes your games apps as well.  I have been using for some time now and I do really see the difference.  There will also be a demo of this shown in future video for the Gaming aspect of using the folders from CM.  I also mention Android 5.1 and I think it really has improved over 5.0. Well, for the rest, you will need to see the video yourself.  If you have any questions, please leave me a comment.  Thanks.
