The first 13 inch TABLET is here Excite 13

Now before you see the pictures of this tablet and see specs of this huge in hands tablet, what will this mean to the tablet world? Are tablets trying to knock off the laptops and netbooks and ultrabooks forever? Didnt think that tablets would grow bigger in size.  But they have.  As I recalled seeing the first 22" tablet that was created by Viewsonic, I thought it will be crazy to carry around something that big.  But these tablets can be used for everything that a PC and laptop can be used for.

Introducing the very first 13 inch tablet... Toshiba Excite 13.  The name speaks for itself.  From there 7ich to 10.1 inch tablet, they skipped over the 11 and 12 inches.  At first making a larger tablet seems outrages and crazy.  But with a little bit of creativity, it can work and be pulled off.

Excite 13.3 inch screen is a beauty to see with your own eyes.  The storage on the first edition is 32 GB for the price of $659.99 and the second edition is $759.99.

With such a massive screen, this tablet would be mainly for in home tablet.  I can see this being in your home office on desk, maybe on the kitchen counter, if you have space, and maybe in your dinning room or living room as well for easier access. So you wont have to turn on your PC or laptop to check on something.

Camera

The camera on it isnt all that fancy or no different from any other tablet. But how would you go by taking a pic holding up a 13.5 inch wide tablet and saying cheese?  It has a 2 mega-pixel front facing camera.  It also shoots pics in HD.  The video playback is in HD.  It has a 16:9 aspect ratio.  Although it does show videos in HD, some Youtube videos seemed to be a little blurry.  While it seems to have some flaws to it, you can use this tablet very easily when it comes to sharing photos and videos with your friends and family.

Features

The Excite 13 will come with the latest Android OS.  A new addition feature with this device is the Enabled Balance Power option.  This option will dim the backlight on the device to save battery life.  Another feature would be the Audio Enhancement.   This allows you to access SRS sound settings like volume boost.

Some apps that preloaded on the tablet would be Adobe Reader, Mobile Office Suite QuickOffice Lite HD,   Printer Share, and LogMeIn, just to name a few.  It also will have YouTube, Crackle and Netflix as well.

3DS XL is Confirmed.

Nintendo Direct announced today that there will be a 3DS XL coming to North America this August.  As you can see from the screenshots below, the 3DS XL screen is 90% larger than the normal 3DS.  Trust and believe this will be worth the buy or even to trade in your small 3DS to get the 4.8''  top screen.  You will be able to actual enjoy the 3D effects better than you would with a smaller screen. I know its a lot of 3DS fans maybe wondering where is the 2nd circle pad.  Im sure they are working that as well.  Also, there seems to not have a AC adapter to come with the 3DS XL.  I guess you might want to save your 3DS adapter.  Perhaps, even buy an extra one before hand?  Any who, you might be wondering what the price tag will be. Well, oh yes, it will be $199.99.  At least, that what Gamestop.com says.  To conclude this, all in all, if you want to buy the 3DS XL, buy it.  If you want stay stuck playing 3D games on a small screen, then play on gamers.  Here some screenshots below.   

The Wait is over Galaxy S III

Galaxy S III is finally here.  This phone is something not to mess with. That is if you are not a phone wizard.  So bring the magic home.  It is not too late to pre-order the Samsung Galaxy S III. Great reviews are out and this phone can blow Apple's iPhone 4S away. Ok, just wait til the New iPhone comes I suppose. Here are a few screenshots of this beautiful gadget.

Microsoft Surface Tablet

 These screenshots are the new Microsoft tablet, Surface.  It was just announced.  As you can see, it has a stand and also uses a keyboard as well.  There will be 2 different versions of this tablet.  One will be the Lite and the other one will be called Pro.  It will show off Windows 8 and its new apps and interface.  No price tag or release date announced yet.  All I know is that this might be the tablet that affects apple's iPad. iOS 6 Wishlist

WWDC is just a few days away.  As we all know that everyone is excited about the newest iPhone predictions  and the new screen size on the phone. But what will the new iOS software bring to help the new iPhone out? What would you all like to see? Well, below are my top features that I would like to see with the new iOS 6.

Facebook Better


Now I know Facebook is getting a little too old. That everyone is tired of the rundown Facebook app that they are using on their apple mobile devices. But  there is still room for improvements.  The way that Facebook looks on the iPad in landscape mode, I would love to see that on the iPhone, and iPod Touch as well.  Would love to see which of my friends are online and showing the IM notification would be great as well.  Also seeing a Facebook notification in the notification center.


Customization with icons


The icons on the apple devices never change.  Would like to see more customization with the icons for the apps as they appear on home screens. Improving the images for the icons will help this a lot.

More Notification features


 More notifications for certain apps wouldn't be so bad. Also cooler features for Twitter and Facebook notifications will be nice. Say if someone uploads a new photo on their Twitter or Facebook profile, when it has been submitted, the photo would appear on as a alert notification on main screen.

App Widgets


Yes, iOS 6 needs to bring app widgets.  Aren't you all tired of constantly opening up your apps just to get to the messages or to the main page of a app? Well lets see if we can get widgets in iOS6. This would help change how the homescreens look and optimize your apple mobile devices as well.

More Camera Options and Modes


The camera modes and options are missing in the iOS. How you like to make a black and white photo effect, or add notes and captions right then and there on your camera app?  Well camera effects and modes is a must have for this next iOS upgrade.

New App Store Look


It is time to change the app store looks when entering it to download apps.  Also integrate it with the new iPad as well.  Maybe have a video clip of a game shown in the download section before you buy. At least you will know what to expect before buying the app.

Nintendo Direct Wii U Pre E3 2012

Hey E3 fans, today has been full of surprises and announcements from Nintendo Direct.  It was mostly about the Wii U.  The Wii U will have so many ways to communicate with the games, the system and your family and friends.  Lets talk about the different ways of interacting with the console and TV. The Wii U allows you to use the tablet controller, the regular Wii controller, the 3DS, and now there new addition, the Wii U Pro controller. (image of Wii U Pro controller below)

This looks amazing. It reminds you of the XBOX 360 controller somewhat.  The games will work well with any of these controllers.  The Wii U Pro controller will be a great fit for those gamers who likes to play with the casual controllers.  

The Wii U tablet controller does so much.  With this controller, you can play the actual games on this controller.  For instance, your mother, father, sister, brother, girlfriend, or boyfriend are wanting to watch TV, you can let them have their time and you are able to still play the game right on your controller. Now that is so incredible.  Also, the you can use the tablet controller to interact with Wii Fit balance board.  It will keep you up to date with your weight and balance activities.

Just imagine you and four other friends playing Mario Kart on the Wii U? You can use regular Wii controllers and the Wii U controller(s). Now in the above image, lets say you all are racing but cant see the map on where everyone is located.  Well this is when the Wii U comes in handy.  Youll be able to use the Wii U controller as a map. Sounds like a sneaky get a way.  With the Wii U, nothing is limited. We'll see more on the Wii U this Tuesday.

Mii verse is something new that was discussed at the Nintendo Direct.  Mii verse allows you to interact with other Miis all over the Wii Universe. Get it?  You can chat with your family and friends and even online wii u miis.  When you playing a game, your friends and family and other miis can interact while you are playing the game. They can comment on things they see you do.  Talk about pressure guys.  This will be a great leap in Nintendo milestone.  

  

Also talked about at the Nintendo Direct was the Wii U's video chat.  You will be able to communicate with your family and friends from your Wii U tablet controller or onscreen of your TV.  Later in the future, your Wii U will be able to communicate with your mobile devices and pcs via video chat.
