Google Keep is available

Google has released a new app today for the smartphones and tablets.  Its called the Google Keep.  Its an all in one note taking, audio notes, task and memo app.  This app is a little similar to Evernote and Wunderlist.  Its pretty much for taking notes and using the on screen widget is very popular too.  You have something on your mind, you can jot it down instantly.  All notes will be saved and linked to the Google Drive as well. Below is a demo of how this app works.  Check it out.  The app is available now on the PlayStore.

The Official Samsung Chromebook REVIEW

The Chromebook.  What is a Chromebook? Why would anyone want a Chromebook? Who is the Chromebook for?  You will  see all these answered and more.

Now some of you might be familiar with Google's Chrome IB (internet browser). Some of you all may already know about the Chrome OS.  Well when you put these 2 together, you have what Google calls the Chromebook.  It really simple to explain.  The Chromebook is as simple of a Ultrabook, Macbook like laptop by Google and other PC companies such as HP, Acer, and Samsung,  Google now has its own OS (Operating System) to compete with Apple and Microsoft.  One particular Chromebook I will review for you all is the latest by Samsung.

The Samsung Chromebook has been out for some months now.  Really been looking forward to owning one of these.  Now I have had some time with it, will like to share my thoughts and how I rate it.  This Samsung Chromebook is a beauty.  The design isn't the greatest but if you couldn't the difference between the Macbook which is by Apple and this Chromebook, you might have mistaken it for it as far the looks and the appearance.  Now around this laptop you have a headphone jack, a SD card slot, a HDMI port, a 2.0 USB port, a 3.0 USB port, power port, and a SIM card slot (which can not be used on this model).  It has a Webcam for Google hangouts and YouTube videos.  The keyboard and trackpad works very nicely.  Haven't  had any problems with them.  The on screen resolution is very nice as well.  The memory in the laptop is pretty small with 16GB of internal memory. But you have USB ports as well as a SD Card slot included.  Oh, once you have setup your new Samsung Google Chromebook and register it to your Gmail account, you can have up to 100 GB on Google Drive for up to 2 years.  That says a lot about this device already.  The best thing about the Chromebook is its start up time.  The time to start and boot it up is very fast.  Maybe anywhere from 5-8 seconds fast.  Since it is by Google the OS is Chrome OS and the inter browser is Chrome.  Which is so far more superior to IE.  You are able to play games, watch movies, surf the web, listen music, check emails, and much more with the Samsung Chromebook.  You are also able to pin your favorite application to the taskbar and you can change your wallpapers too on the desktop.  This device isn't a bad buy at all.  For $249.99, Everyone should be able to afford the Chromebook.

The cons: Not all apps and things are available offline. No Skype available. Some apps including games are available offline but the majority of them not able to work or open  and use unless you are connected to wifi. No hard drive, no CD or DVD drive.  So Google still needs to work on more access for offline capabilities.  But not bad from how far the Chromebooks have come.

The Pros: its by Samsung and Google. It has HDMI support, Wifi capabilities, 3.0 USB and 2.0 USB ports, SIM card slot, its affordable, and some offline access.  You get 100 GB of google drive for 2 years.  You have super fast boot.  You get to use Chrome Internet Browser.

So, this is the final verdict on Chromebook review. Its a very nice looking laptop, not expensive at all, get to explore the Google OS, and it truly is for EVERYONE.

The iPhone Killers are here already

We seen iPhone come in and "Oh" and "Ah" us from time to time with some of its features and most recently the 4' inch screen and all that it can do.  But as far as it has come, is that enough to keep consumers wanting and staying with the iPhone as long as they have now? With the android smartphones being more affordable and the different varieties it has, what could apple do for their next iPhone to keep consumers buying it?  As we seen recently what Samsung, Blackberry, and HTC bring to the table, its no more competition out now. These 3 companies have android on their devices and different phones for everyone to choose from and all have their own different UIs in the phones.  The S4, HTC One, and Z10 are definitely the new faces of the Smartphone era with their designs, specs, and features. They bring something for everyone! Once again, in order for Apple to keep up their pace with just their one iPhone (iPhone 5), whats the next move for Apple to make when it comes to innovation? Well, they need to take a closer look to see why people are amazed at the S4, One, and the Z10.  They all have ANDROID!!!

Samsung's Galaxy S IV It isn't about the DESIGN but more FEATURES

So its official, its finally here.  The new Samsung Galaxy S IV!!!!  The show was exactly just that, a show. More of a skit and play sort of thing.  By using the S IV, you can see what makes this an interesting smartphone.  Now all smartphones want to do is become its own.  So with the Samsung Galaxy S IV, it became its own phone with a lot, a lot, I mean a lot of FEATURES.  The features of this device will be a reason for it to fail or succeed.  So below here are some of the features that were shown at the show.

Shoot and Sound- The shoot and sound feature comes in handy when you want to customize your photo with sound including voice audio and music.

Scroll/Pause- Scroll and Pause feature is great when using in watching a movie on your phone. You are watching a movie and somethingelse away from the movie gets your attention. Get up from the phone and the movie pauses.  Once you come back to the phone and look at it, the movie starts back playing.

Dual Camera feature- The dual camera feature looks pretty awesome.  This feature does a lot. With dual cameras it can take 100 shots per frame. Yes 100 shots per frame.  You can check out each photo and pick which ones you dont like and delete them out the shot.  Another cool thing about the cameras is when you snap a picture, you are able to erase areas out in the background.  This can include a person that you know, you dont want in the photo.  One more big thing about the dual camera feature is the video chatting.  When you are video chatting, you now can add the rear facing camera act as part of the video too.  You also will be able to have your face and the other person's face and the background on screen together.  Everything is involved.

S Translator- The s translator translates messages, books, and voices if you dont know the languages or can read them.

S Voice Drive- This feature is smart for the people that are out here in the world driving while texting or on the phone while driving. With this feature you can stay hands-free.  You can ignore calls while driving, itll show you whose texting you and more.

Samsung Home Sync- This feature home sync is exactly as that.  For your home. But if you are on a road trip and you want your parents, brothers, and sisters to what you are up to or where you at, you use home sync.  Taking pictures or shooting videos from wherever you at and sync to home instantly.  The fast way.

So, there are some of the main features that stand out with the Samsung Galaxy S IV.  Will update when more details are revealed.

Samsung Galaxy tab 2 7.0 Garnet Red Edition Review

This is the Samsung Galaxy tab 2 7.0 Garnet Red Edition Review.  This 7 inch tablet has been out for some time now, but recently released a limited edition one this year. The galaxy tab 2 7.0 Garnet Red edition included a red cover case.  This really comes in handy. The case also turns into a mini stand for wide viewing option.  You might mistake it for a Galaxy S III and Note II if not careful.  Inside joke.  It has Android 4.1.1 included. It does include a SD micro slot. Like the fact that the speakers are located on the bottom of the device instead behind the device.  It also has all the great features and apps for Samsung.  It has the PlayStore and Samsung Apps Store as well.  The best of both worlds on this one device.  Movies and videos show really great on this 7 inch tablet.  Games play well and smoothly too.  You can read books and magazines on the tablet also. Those are the pros of this device,  The tablet does have its cons.  Unlock the Nexus 7, it doesn't have the latest Android update Jelly Bean 4.2.1, it doesnt have tegra 3 processor, and it doesn't have HD resolution. But if those cons don't affect you into purchasing this device, then I would definitely recommend this 7 inch tablet to you.  You can buy this device for as low as $179.99.  Below are some of the sites you can purchase this tablet from.

How I manage to pay $10 or less on my cell phone Bill

For a while I was trying to find a cheaper phone plan whether it was on a contract or prepaid. I was going back and forth between services and outrageous bills.  What a hassle.  My phone bills were rising from anywhere from $25-$200 a month! Well due to deactivation fees, plus charges and other fees that phone companies wont tell you about. So how after all this how did I manage to pay now from anywhere from $10 a month or less?  Here is how below.

Just less than a week ago, Im browsing through my emails and I look over to right where there was an ad or banner advertising Phone bill $10 a month! I clicked on it and here I am. Almost a week later. Paying anywhere from $10 or less now.  This is great.  This how life should feel. Less stress, less frustration. Happier outcome.  Better yet, more money in my pockets to do with whatever I want to do.  Now I can save anywhere from 1100 to 1500 dollars a year extra in my wallet.

Thanks Consumer Cellular.  I like you guys a lot and you all have great customer service. I even have my parents set up to this phone service.
