Updates Rolling Out For Nexus 4, 5, 6, 7 (2013), and 9

Google Nexus 6

A little over a month ago, Google had announced that it would be rolling out monthly security updates due to the StageFright scare.  Now its officially in full force for the security updates. The security updates are for minor bug fixes in the system.

+TMobile has come out announced that their support page for the Nexus 4, 5, 6, 7 (2013), and the Nexus 9 will all be receiving updates today.  Now the Nexus 4, 5, 7, and 9 will be getting  jump on demand to build number LMY48M, since the Nexus 6 is going to LYZ28K, which is only made for the Nexus 6.

We would think that security updates wouldn't be such a big deal on Android.  Little do some know, and sure it seems these devices shouldn't be getting viruses.  But like any other technology in the world, they can be hacked.  But it is very important that all data and information that are personal to you be protected.  So being secured is very important today.

For those of you with a Nexus device, make sure you check the security update sometime today, if not now.

Check updates by going to Phone Settings> touch About phone> System updates
